and Lucille Ault (step-mother). He is survived by brothers Delbert and wife Melinda, John and wife Connie, sisters Laurie Shannon, Stephanie Ibrahim, Barbara Gray and Karen Casey, nephew Marcus Christison (The son never had), many other nieces and nephews and friends. He worked in the horse industry for many years, and his knowledge was unsurpassed. He worked and managed several local horse farms, and Mandy's Land Farm in California for 11 years. He was a free spirit who knew no strangers.

He was quick with a joke and could always make the day brighter with his presence. He lived his life to the fullest. He will be missed. A memorial service will be held in his honor at the home of John and Connie Ault, 6533 Clays Mill Rd, Lexington on Sun, Oct 26 from Inquiries can be made at 859-293-6742. Born and raised in Lexington at the John Hunt Morgan Home, she was the daughter of the late Dee and Alice Little. She attended Transylvania University, served in the Civil Defense in the 50s, and worked at the UK Medical Center before retiring. She was a member of Park United Methodist Church, Mother's Club, several bridge clubs and enjoyed evenings with friends at Suggins. She is survived by two sons, Dave (Patricia) Hammonds and Douglas Hammonds; two grandchildren, Todd (Sheri) Hammonds and Leah Hammonds; and three greatgrandchildren, Austin, Clayton and Elexia. Funeral services will be 11am Mon at Park United Methodist Church.

Pallbearers will be Steven McBurney, Wayne Moore, Tom Lykins, David Little, Todd Hammonds and Austin Hammonds. Burial will be in Lexington Cemetery. Born in Lexington, he was a son of Clyde Holder, Nicholasville, and Diane Holder, Lexington. Survivors other than his parents are a daughter, Megan Holder, Nicholasville; a brother, Randy (Sara) Holder, Georgetown; a sister, Kristy (Brian) Curneal, Lexington; and his grandmother, Mary Bodemann, Nicholasville. COMBS William Douglas Sr, 86, of Lexington, passed away Thu morning at the Hospice Care Center in Lexington after a long illness. Mr. Combs was born in Madison County to the late Harlen Combs Sr. and Verna Douglas Combs Penn. He lived in Lexington, KY and West Palm Beach, FL.

Mr. Combs retired in Tucson, AZ after thirty five years with the federal government. Survivors include his wife of sixty four years: Mary Eva Moody Combs, his two children: Nancy Edmonds (Richard) of Schenectady, NY and William D. "Doug" Combs Jr. (Vicky) of Crestwood, KY; a sister: Juanita Penn Biggerstaff of Daytona Beach, FL; and several nieces and nephews and extended family.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2pm Tue, Oct 28, 2008 at the Combs, Parsons Collins Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Dick officiating. Burial will follow in the Richmond Cemetery. Evans T. Moseley passed away Sun, Oct 24, 2008 at her home. Born Dec 11, 1923 in Harrodsburg, she was the daughter of the late James Phillip and Hallie Tichenor Board. She was a graduate of the University of Louisville and a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority. She was devoted to historic preservation her entire adult life.

She had served as president of the Harrodsburg Historical Society, and the Harrodsburg Landmark Association as well as chairman of the Mercer County Library Board. She was also a member of the National Society of the Colonel Dames of America, the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Baptist Women's Missionary Union, the Liberty Hall Foundation the Filson Club and the James Harrod Trust. Frances was the recipient of the Kentucky Heritage Council's Service To Preservation Award, the Mercer Chamber of Commerce's first ever Harrods Company Award, The Fort Harrod Business and Professional Womens Club's Woman of Achievement Award and the first and only Clay Lancaster Award for Scholarship in Historic Preservation, presented by the James Harrod Trust. Survivors include: a daughter: Julienne Gist Keightley of Louisville, and a granddaughter: Elaine Frances Keightley of Phoenix, AZ. She was preceded in death by a son: James Moore Keightley Jr.

Funeral services will be conducted 2pm Mon, Oct 27 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel with Rev. Ed Mesta officiating. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
