The senior. righthander from Pittsfield I pitched a perfect game to spark Springfield to a 5-0 victory over Stonehill in the opener of a doubleheader. In the nightcap, Munger got the game-winning RBI and was the winning pitcher in relief to, help the Maroons sweep the twinbill with a 6-5 victory.

Munger struck out seven in the opener. In the nightcap, she scattered four hits in innings of relief work for the 6-11 Maroons. Wesleyan 11, Mount Holyoke 3: At Middietown, Wesleyan (6-5) stole 14 bases in 16 attempts to set a school record. Mount Holyoke (2-4) was led by Elizabeth Hartner with two hits. Beth Collins had a double and drove in two runs for the Lyons.
