A graduate of the University of North Carolina School, of Medicine, who also held M.D. degree from the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Brinn was immediate past president of the Seaboard Medical Society.

He was an organizing member of the North Carolina Academy of General Practice had served as a counselor of the first district of the North Carolina Medical Society for 10 years. Dr. Brinn was a past president of the Perquimans County Chamber of Commerce and represented Perquimans County on the 10-county Albemarle Area Development Association. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at First United Methodist Church.
